With the Single Particle Explorer SPE-ls raman.ID + metal.ID system anybody can determine the size, shape and chemical composition of hundreds of metallic, organic and inorganic particles ranging from 5 µm and larger. The unique combination of imaging analysis and spectroscopy allows the chemical characterization of hundreds of particles per hour. Imaging analysis delivers size and morphology data of the particles. Individual particles are selected for their identification by their morphology for their spectroscopy and identification.

The Single Particle Explorer is a powerful automated particle analysis tool that provides information on particle count, size and morphology. A variety of sampling techniques allows for the isolation and identification of particulate from processes and products.
SPE_raman- This instrument builds on the SPE with the addition of Raman Spectroscopy and a library of over 600 common contaminants for particle identification and root cause analyses.
SPE_raman+metal- This is the top of the line instrument offered by Rap.ID and includes both particle detection and identification by Raman and Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) for elemental analysis.
